Marketing: We marketed our senior league concept through POAs / COAs, local media (Hilton Head and Bluffton Sun), word of mouth, etc. We built a database of interested players and held four practice/scrimmage sessions.

Two at Barker Fields, one at MC Riley Fields and one at Burton Wells Park. Result:

 Six teams   Approximately 15 players per team  Approximately 90 players

 Every player that shows up will be in lineup and play at least three innings in field, if healthy

 Pinch runners allowed, unlimited  Looking for additional players to replace any injured players, etc.

 Doubleheaders once per week starting at 4pm and ending at 6:30pm

 All games in daylight, league rules focus on full participation, safety and fun

 Season scheduled to start week of April 19: six weeks of games plus three weeks for playoffs

 Plan is to extend formal season into summer as informal games and play formal seasons in spring and fall Sponsors:
